1、Job Description: Business Development ManagerWorkplace: Singapore, Guangzhou, China

a) Strategic partnerships and alliances

  • Identify, identify and establish new strategic alliances with educational institutions, accelerators and industry groups
  • Participate in the design of transaction structure, joint venture and formulation of memorandum of understanding (MoU)
  • Building partnership pipelines in ASEAN, Greater China and emerging markets

b) Market development and opportunity reconnaissance

  • Conduct industry and competitive research to identify trends and gaps
  • Analyze data to prioritize countries, regions and sectors for business expansion
  • Support the launch of pilot projects and assess the market adaptability of different demographic groups

c) Sales Support and Customer Engagement

  • Collaborate with internal product and marketing teams to create persuasive advocacy
  • High-level business development meetings with executive decision makers, academic deans and government agencies
  • Build long-term customer relationships and become a communicator of Borient's brand and vision

d) Project leadership and execution

  • Full implementation of signed agreements from onboarding to revenue realization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders such as legal, operations and market
  • Monitor key performance indicators, build dashboards, and report growth performance directly to executives

 

2、Candidates: Who Are We Looking For?

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years experience in business development, sales, strategic partnership or enterprise development
  • Proven ability to close deals, expand markets or scale projects in startups, education, fintech or consulting
  • Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of independently leading projects and managing complex stakeholder relationships

Additional skills and experience:

  • Experience in multinational teamwork or regional expansion (especially Singapore, China, ASEAN)
  • Knowledge in artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship, digital learning or wealth management
  • Proficiency in multiple languages (such as English + Chinese) is an advantage
  • Learn about the entrepreneurial ecosystem, educational partnerships or corporate learning
